🧪 Prototyping in Public: How I Use Vercel's v0 and Loveable to Test Ideas Fast
There’s something deeply satisfying about watching an idea go from a spark to something real in a matter of hours—not weeks.
Lately, I’ve been using two powerful tools to do just that:
Vercel’s v0 – for spinning up full-stack app prototypes from plain English prompts
Loveable.so – for launching beautiful MVPs with clarity and heart
Both of these tools are helping me close the gap between thought and action—and more importantly, between insight and experimentation.
⚡ Why Prototyping Matters (Even If You’re Not Building an App)
I’m not a full-time developer. I’m a coach, writer, and idea guy. But I’ve learned that the ability to test, build, and validate ideas quickly is no longer a "tech thing"—it’s a mindset.
These days, if I have a concept for:
A framework I want to visualize
A guided exercise I want to share
A learning experience I want people to interact with
...I don’t just write about it. I build a simple version and see how it feels in the world.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about iteration.
🛠️ How I’m Using Vercel’s v0
v0 by Vercel lets you turn prompts into production-grade apps using AI. It’s like having a frontend dev friend on speed dial.
Here’s an example:
I recently typed: "Create a simple tool that helps someone reflect on their top 5 VIA character strengths and journal how they show up each week."
Within minutes, I had a working prototype.
From there, I refined the copy, adjusted the flow, and tested it myself. It didn’t have to be perfect—it just had to be real enough to learn from.
💗 Why I Love Loveable
Loveable helps me move from concept to experience. It’s simple, clean, and built with storytelling in mind.
I use it when I want to:
Frame a new idea for early feedback
Package a pilot program or digital product
Test resonance before scaling something up
In one case, I built a one-page site for a strengths-based leadership tool I’d been noodling on for weeks. The moment I saw it live, something clicked. It felt tangible.
Sometimes, that’s all it takes to get momentum.
🧭 Why This Matters for My Learning Journey
Using tools like v0 and Loveable isn’t just about building faster—it’s about learning in context.
Instead of asking, "Would this work?" I ask:
What’s the smallest version of this I can test today?
What might I learn if I let this be rough but real?
That shift—from theorizing to experimenting—has been a game changer for how I learn, share, and grow.
💬 Curious to Hear From You
Are you experimenting with any low-code or no-code tools right now? Have you tried v0, Loveable, or something similar?
I’d love to see what you’re building—or help you think through your next experiment.
Let’s keep prototyping in public.
More soon,
